The Omani ISAF Member National Authority, the Ministry of Sports Affairs (OMA) has officially applied for the accreditation of its National Sail Training Programme.
Saif Al Shibli, Vice Chairman, Oman Watersports Committee explains the reasons behind the decision to apply for accreditation of their National Sail Training Programme, "Since October 2009, Oman Sail, acting as our national sailing facility and training provider, has taught over 6,000 people to sail and created a first class sail training scheme. We are delighted that the training scheme will be inspected and hopefully accredited by ISAF. This will allow the programme to continue to go from strength to strength"
