Phuket has long established itself as the epicenter of sailing and yachting activity in Thailand and has some of the best cruising grounds in South East Asia. Leisure marine tourism brings some US$300 million into Phuket every year, and the numbers are rising fast. Phuket is well known for its yacht racing scene, along with major powerboat events and other water-based activities like windsurfing and jet skiing. The boating industry in the region is rapidly expanding and more and more marine facilities are being developed, fueling demand further.
Now in its 9th year, the Phuket International Boat Show is the only boat show in Thailand, and one of the most important in the region. It’s a unique platform to reach out to an audience of very wealthy individuals who already own homes on the island or in the region, or are looking to acquire one. This is a forum for the yachting industry to meet these potential customers who need a boat to complete the lifestyle e xperience.
The Phuket International Boat Show pulls together yacht builders, brokers, charter companies, dealers, suppliers of boating accessories and yachting services to meet high-income groups from Thailand and neighbouring countries in South East Asia.

Visitors to the show can expect to see an impressive range of boats - exhibitors already confirmed include Azimut, Bavaria, Beneteau, Fairline, Ferretti, Formula, Gulfcraft, Hanse, HYS Yachts, Jeanneau, Maritimo, Majesty, Pershing, Princess, Prout Catamarans, Riva, Lagoon, Seawind, SEAT Boat, Targa, Tartan and Windy.
Alongside the on-water display is a host of boat gear, ya cht clothing and accessories.
Together with parties, live entertainment, an exhibitor lounge and visitor bar, participants in the show can expect a lively event supported by regional marketing activity. Visitors are expected to attend from many of the neighbouring South East Asian countries as well as Thailand.
